So WAY back in June 2010 part of my family came to visit (only the ones that love me) and we did this AMAZING hike!! What made it even more amazing was that my Mom and Dad made it up to the TOP!! Jonathan practically forced them to do it (not sure he was the favorite son in-law that day)! I think they forgave him though when they were able to enjoy the beautiful view. However their sore bodies in the weeks following may not have.

Still I think it was a pretty good time! I could not have been more proud of my parents!

Yeah! I love your blogs. Jill you need to keep at it. Thanks for the memories of that day and no- Jonathan was still one of our favorite son-in-laws that day. He was either number 1 or 2, I can't remember. I love all the pictures! Can't wait to come back in June. We might have to skip the Stairway to Heaven hike though, because little baby Crockett will be our 'Heaven-sent' blessing and we want to spend as much time with him as we can. Love you two!
ReplyDeleteOne of our favorite son-in-laws? Who are we kidding? Also there is no reason to skip the stairway to heaven hike because he will just come with us. We bought one of those hiking packs that he will fit in just nicely. Can't wait to see you back up there.
